Commitment summary
Implementation of underground containers in Vilnius city center beach to decrease the waste pollution of the river Neris
The commitment consists of implementation of semi underground containers in the Vilnius city center beach nearby the river Neris, the Baltic Sea's pollution reduction as a result, awareness raising campaign in partnership with Vilnius' municipality with the message "Let's make order", possible social activities expansion to the Baltic Sea beaches of Klaipėda and Palanga.

Agreement with Vilnius' municipality on awareness raising campaign.
Special marks to be put on the containers to inform Vilnius' inhabitants about the negative impact or waste damage if the trash is not placed to the containers.
Special outdoors to inform people about the necessity to sort the waste in order to actualize waste separation and recycling ideas, possibly provide special containers adapted for sorting.
Involve Lithuanian ecology opinion leaders to the action, launch "Let's make order" message to be spread Vilnius-wide.
Launch internet social networking group on the action, establish partnership with the local media.
Find motivated social partners in Klaipėda and Palanga to expand the promotion of sorting to these towns.

In December of 2010 National Land Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania approved VSA Vilnius' request and gave the necessary formal permission to implement (dig in) underground containers in the location of national land by the river Neris in Vilnius city. Vilnius municipality fully supports the project based on the commitment and put efforts when dealing with other municipal and national governmental agencies. The summer of 2011 is a preliminar date set for the implementation (digging in) of underground containers.
