Commitment summary
Journalistic material on the Baltic Sea
HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences cooperates with BSAG by taking the Baltic Sea as a theme to selected courses. Journalist students produce journalistic material in Finnish on the Baltic Sea for BSAG and management assistant students translate the texts into various languages. First, a team of journalist students cover the Baltic Sea Action Summit as the BSAG’s media team and prepare journalistic material for the BSAG internet site.

The objective is to raise awareness of the Baltic Sea problems and the ongoing improvement work by producing journalistic material. The impact on the Baltic Sea is indirect but increases awareness and makes people think and act in a more responsible way in order to save the Baltic Sea.
