The commitment on local level has been fulfilled as planned duríng the first year of the commitment. The milestone "BSAF", a network of farms in the Baltic Sea region, has been delayed. Because of the ongoing Baltic Deal project, Kosken kartano didn´t want to create a "competing network" of farms. Therefore we have offered the Baltic Deal project the possibility to use our farm as an example farm and let them organize excursions, seminars etc on our ground. At the moment we are waiting for their reply, if we could be a part of their network of example farms and help them find more partners on grass root level. We will have more information on this issue during spring 2011.
