Waste reception facilities for cruise ships
Establishment of waste reception facilities at the new 1100 meter cruise quay in Copenhagen for sewage (blackwater and greywater). The local authorities appoval process is ongoing. Expected start of construction is 2011 and expected finishing of construction is March 2013.
The quay will have 4 berths for large cruise ships in turnaround.

The objective of the committment is to contribute to a cleaner Baltic Sea, introduce permanent environmental sustainable alternatives to discharge of waste (sewage) at sea for large passenger ships.
Final municipal decision is in place through an approval of a local development plan (no. 443) for the area.
