Commitment to act for the Baltic Sea

To hasten the work for the Baltic Sea, BSAG collects voluntary Commitments from different kind of organizations. A Commitment is an act or a process with a positive impact on the wellbeing of the Baltic Sea. The impact can be direct or indirect.

A commitment enables organizations to contribute their core competence to the rescue mission of the Baltic Sea. An ideal Commitment suits the organization’s own processes, business model and targets and develops them in a direction that helps both the Baltic Sea and the organization.

Up to date BSAG has collected over 200 commitments from states, companies, NGOs and individuals. You can view them all in our Commitment Bank.

New Commitment proposals can be submitted through our web service. We at BSAG are happy to assist you in formulating your Commitment. Read more from “Make a Commitment” section.

A good Commitment is

  • an act or a process with a positive impact on the Baltic Sea
  • something new to the Commitment maker - completed deeds are not accepted
  • concrete with measurable milestones
  • can be non-financial or financial
  • a part of a problem solving path – a missing piece of the puzzle
