CarbonToSoil commits to furthering regenerative farming with Baltic Sea emphasis

CarbonToSoil commits to furthering regenerative farming with Baltic Sea emphasis “Climate change can be reversed”, states CarbonToSoil mobile application and a non-profit project (www.carbontosoil.com) fighting the climate change. CarbonToSoil made a Commitment to develop and market the application which invites everyone to take part in changing common farming into regenerative agriculture and sequestering carbon into soil. Increasing the global storage of carbon in the soil is a powerful tool to hinder climate change. Change into regenerative farming would also decrease nutrient emissions to the Baltic Sea.

CarbonToSoil also commits to bringing sustainable nutrient use and nutrient recycling as a topic to the application and to the participating farms. To maximize the impact on the waterbodies, CarbonToSoil will as well start by looking farms on the coastal areas.

With the CarbonToSoil application a user can support the change a piece of land from a real farm to be cultivated by practices of regenerative agriculture. In the process the user gets information on the state of “her/his piece of land”, soil and crops.

The price depends on the size of the piece of land, one can also participate with a small amount of money. The user can follow how the state of the soil improves and learn about farming practices that are turning agricultural soil into a carbon sink.
