Baltic Sea Living Room event brought together Commitment makers and other friends of the Baltic Sea

​The sunny and relaxed Baltic Sea Living Room event gathered together Baltic Sea commitment makers and other friends of the Baltic Sea on 4.9.2013 at the Kulosaaren Casino, right by the Baltic Sea.
In the welcome speech by Ilkka Herlin, the Chairman of BSAG, there were current news about furthering of the initiatives made in the Baltic Sea Action Summit in St. Petersburg in April 2013. The ambitious Commitment by the St. Petersburg Vodokanal, concerning water treatment in the Leningrad province and in the Karelian republic, was also especially highlighted. Over 90 people, including guests from abroad, took part in the joint afternoon of partners and Commitment makers.
Outotec’s Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Responsibility, Minna Aila talked about contents of their Baltic Sea Commitment and got the audience’s full attention to the topic of utilizing animal manure.
 Kirsi Kostamo from Finnish Environmental Institute opened up the current state of the Baltic Sea and pianist Iiro Rantala implemented his Baltic Sea Commitment by offering inspiring music to the appreciating guests.
The event also celebrated the Kehrä Interior’s fulfilled Commitment of collecting 100 000 euros for BSAG’s Baltic Sea work through the sales of Guardian of the Baltic Sea jewelry. Gratified by their success, Noora Juurikkala and Heini Lehto unveiled to launch a new line of Baltic Sea jewelry.
The relaxed event to discuss and network among those are already working for the Baltic Sea, was organized by BSAG and Royal Ravintolat.​
