2.5 MEUR for the implementation of the EU Baltic Sea strategy through the BSAG Commitment of former MEP Carl Haglund

Through the active work of former MEP Carl Haglund, at present the Minister of Defence of Finland, the European Parliament has decided to allocate 2.5 MEUR in the 2013 budget for the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. This decision was announced in Brussels on the 12 of December 2012.

Haglund´s work is part of his Baltic Sea Action Group Commitment.​
