Agricultural actors seek to improve both agricultural practices and the Baltic Sea at Yara’s network conference June 4th

​Yara international hosts a network conference “A Cleaner Baltic Sea by improved agricultural productivity” June 4th 2014 in Kaschow, Germany. The network conference gathers farmers, scientists, politicians and businesses from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
The goal of the conference is to share knowledge and ideas on how to reduce nutrient leakages without reducing the productivity of local agriculture. The network conference is a part of Yara International’s Baltic Sea Commitment. BSAG attends the network conference and BSAG’s Chairman of the board, Ilkka Herlin is one of the international speakers.
Also, Yara and BSAG are gathering a Baltic Sea Consortium of companies to together look for the best ways to minimize the emissions and optimize the productivity.
Yara and other Commitment makes are also presenting their actions for the Baltic Sea at the joint meeting of Baltic Development Forum and EU Baltic Sea Region Programme in Turku June 4th.​
