Langis’ Commitment to improve monitoring is progressing rapidly

Langis is a company specialized in measurement technology and solutions. Langis made its Commitment for BSAG last autumn. The core of the Commitment is developing cost efficient on-line technologies for analyzing water quality. On-line measuring enables easier usability and increasing the amount of data collected. Cost efficiency, on the other hand is an important demand factor. The focus of measuring is on phosphorus, nitrogen and oxygen. Measuring applications could be used for example in waste water treatment plants and in agriculture.

After the Commitment was made people at Langis rolled up their sleeves and the actual work started right away. The development of the first measuring application for dissolved phosphorus is in full swing and the first model is already out. This application could be for example used for phosphorus measuring in waste water treatment plants, fields and fish farms.
