Knowledge transfer between farmers

Description:

The farmers both in Russia (AKKOR) and Finland (MTK) aim for a sustainable agriculture and the most efficient use of precious nutrients phosphorus and nitrogen.

The commitment seeks for a better understanding of the agri-environmental problems in nutrient use and on-farm solutions to control nutrient leakage, e.g. by enhancing modern manure management technology.

The common knowledge transfer of the best practises for the resource efficiency is activated by joint events and cooperation projects between Russian and Finnish farmers.
