Testing the AIS+ application onboard our member ships.

The potential for the development of the AIS system is depending on how many ships will take the new AIS+ application in use. We think that the requirement is, that the new application is to be regulated as mandatory by IMO for every ship trading in the Baltic sea and the North Sea.

Prototypes of the AIS+ application are already tested onboard m/v Mariella and m/v Gabriella.

Objective of the Commitment:
Permanent improvement of the safety of navigation in the Baltic sea.
