Baltic Sea Action Group’s Commitment web service has been updated

Baltic Sea Action Group has updated its Commitment web service. The new service allows Commitment makers to make changes to and to update their own Baltic Sea Commitments. The service requires a login username and password, which have been sent to the Commitment makers.
The media and public may also view and monitor the published Baltic Sea Commitments with a new special visual tool. The tool was designed and produced cooperatively by Mepco Oy, atBusiness Oy and Tieto Oyj.
Commitments are one of BSAG’s tools to get various actors – companies, the community and private persons – involved in the work for the Baltic Sea. The most efficient kind of Commitment represents a concrete action for the benefit of the sea. The impact can be direct or indirect. Commitments can be know-how, products, services or development of processes within the company.
The Baltic Sea Action Summit process was initiated by BSAG by arranging the first Baltic Sea Action Summit in Helsinki in 2010, together with the President and Prime Minister of Finland. The idea of the Summit is to present and accelerate concrete actions to save the Baltic Sea. The next BSAS will be held in Russia in late 2012.
The Commitment service is logged on to using the username and password sent to the Commitment-makers. Should you not have received your login details, or if you have any further questions, please contact Heli Launiainen, firstname.lastname@bsag.fi or +358 40 717 6675.
